    A worm is put in the child's hand at birth and squeezed till it dies.
    A posthumous child has the cure of thrush or sore mouth. The cure is made by blowing into the mouth.
    An ailment called a Rose is cured with water from a holy well in the townland of Clontiduffy. If a woman has the "rose" a man has to get the water for her and if a man has the rose a woman must get the water for him
