When he came near the place he heard a great shuffling of feet some little distance from him, & the noise seemed to be coming in his direction, so he jumped in over the fence. He felt it was something out of the ordinary and he began to shiver violently. Just then the noise appeared to be on the road just outside where he was. He pepped through the fence & saw a coffin and three men standing beside it. Come out Mick and help us to carry this coffin to the graveyard said one of the men. Mick at first thought of running away but his legs refused to carry him, so out he had to get from behind the fence as he could do nothing but obey. In Company with the others he bore the coffin along mile after mile, & Mick thought he had the weight of the world on his arm, so heavy did the coffin appear.
