    Corps marched into the Country and captured Essegg, on the 14th of February 1849, later on he formed another Reserve Corps, and marched under the Command of the Prince of Windischgratz against the insurgents at [?]. Soon after he retired from active service and in November was presented with the Baton of Field Marshal. He was present at the age of 82, at the battle of Solfermo on the 24th June 1859, as a volunteer. He died on 21st August 1860, at his estate near Ranslsladt in Croatia.
    He was married to the Duchess of Riario Sfoaza [?], the heiress of the Duke of that name, by his wide, a Co - heiress of Francis Xaoie Prince of Poland & Saxony
