  1. Signs of rain.
    If the sun is a yellow colour when it is setting we expect rain the following day.
    When the hills are a purple colour and when they seem nearer rain is not far off.
    If fowls are seen in a shed during rain it may be known that the rain will not last long. If they go out the rain will continue.
    When people see a dog eating grass they expect rain.
    If sheep stand grazing in a field in the morning it shows that they are preparing for rain.
    When the wind whistles in the trees people expect rain.
    When the wind blows from the south rain is supposed to come with it.
    If there is a blue blaze in the fire and if the kitchen floor is wet rain will come.
    When the top of a hill is hidden by a cloud and if the cloud is seen coming down
