Running WormThis is cured by the "Seventh son". Before being baptised two worms a male and a female must be put in the child's hand and left there to die.
ThrushChild born after its father's death can cure this.
"Rose" or swelling- water from a certain well in Turbotstown near Castlepollard. The water must be "raised" before sunrise(continues on next page)
