  1. In my locality there are fields with beautiful names on them. They are the "paddock" so called because bulls were kept in it and never allowed out of it. The horse park got its name on account of young horses been reared and trained in it. The woodlands are named because this field is surrounded by woods. The well-field is so called because in the centre is a clear, crystal, well. On the southern side of Kilcumney there is a bawn named the "Glebe". No one is rightly sure how
