  1. Ivy. When sheep are after yeaning they are given ivy leaves. This is a green creeping plant found on the walls of houses or on old trees.
    Laurel. Laurel is a green plant found in woods. Its leaves are used for flavouring rice or, the leaves fried in lard is a cure for any sores.
    Yarrow. Yarrow is a small plant found in meadows, with a white and pink flower.
    Garlic. A curtivated plant whch if transplanted during the three hours or Lord was on the cross, is a perfect cure for coughs.
    Nettles. Nettles are great food for turkeys and hens.
    Dockings. When a person gets a sting of a nettle and put a docking leaf to it, the pain will stop.
