  1. My father often told me that at Billistown about three miles from this school, in the middle of a field stands the ruins of an old castle which I have often seen, in the interior of which a scillet of gold coins is believed to have been hidden.
    People have ceased to make attempts to discover the treasure as it is supposed that the hider laid a curse on the place and that he who searched for it, would never have luck.
