    About two miles from Killucan south in Brutonstown.

    About two miles from Killucan south in Brutonstown. There is a hollow, in olden days a mill was there. This hollow is said to be haunted and people are afraid passing it after dark.
    Not far from this hollow there is a house owned by James Garty. A long time ago there was a man working in his house. Every night this work man used to go on a ceilidhe to another house. On his way he had to pass this haunted place.
    One night as he was going home he was passing this place he stood to light his cigarette he let it fall and he took our a bunch of matches to look
