    concerned Murray Bros had their side of the street flagged.
    A story is told that a dispute arose on one occasion between the two brothers - One turned on the ale tap so the liquor ran along the shores of the street.
    It is also told that when Jas. Stephens came to the neighbourhood of Mullingar to organise the Fenians previous to 1867 his safest hiding place was the brewery yard.
