    the locality, as this was a very important place long ago.
    It is said that this old road continued on to the County Meath and on right to the Hill of Tara.
    In later years when the stage coaches were running between Galway and Dublin, and Sligo and Dublin the two principal roads were, the ones which runs through Moyvore. And those two roads are still the chief roads for traffic to the City.
    There is a very old passway leading to the bog. It is called the Bachalor's Walk why it was called this name I do not know.
