    One day an old woman was cooking a rabbit for the workmen's dinner.
    She did not know how to skin it so she left some of the fur on its legs.
    On taking it out to the men in the field she put it in a little gallon.
    One of the lads, who was very witty, tool the lid off the gallon and when he saw the fur on the rabbit he shouted to the others, "Oh, boys of the world, lads, come here till you see the go-boy with the puttees on him."
