Told to me by John Mullally (aged 76) Corken RathconrathWritten by:Maureen Kelly (14) - About a quarter of a mile from my house there is a fort called "Ráth na Mucán" It is a small round fort. There are trees growing on it. It is about seven feet high. The fairies are said to go from the fairies churn up to it at certain times in the year and that if a person went by that way he could seed the grass white. It is believed that there is more gold in it than in all Ireland.
