- There is a holy well beside a big tree in a field in Moyvoughly. It is called St. Patrick's well. Beside it is a big stone and the mark of a knee known as St. Patrick's knee is hewn from the stone. When people are changing from one house to another it is on a Friday because it is considered as a lucky day. It is said that the seventh son of a family has the power to cure ringworm wildfire and other diseases of the body. When he is born, he makes a rign on the floor and a worm is put in it and the worm will die inside the ring.
