    12. The donkey turns his back to the ditch when rain is coming.
    13. When rain is hovering about the cricket comes out and sings around the fire and the smoke goes down at the back of the house.
    14. To see a rainbow in the morning is a sign of a storm.
    15. A rainbow in the evening is a sign of some showers, but the weather will continue mild.
    16. The swallows fly low when rain is coming, and the curleiu whistles morning and night.
    17. When the crane goes to the bog it is a sign of bad weather and when the crane goes to the shannon it is a sign of good weather.
