  1. Once upon a time there lived a priest in Co. Roscommon. One Sunday when the Parson was coming from Church he met the Priest coming from Mass with a few children. The Parson said to a Catholic man who was driving him. "Isn't he like a sow with a litter of pigs after him". The coachman told the priest and the priest was very angry. The priest said the Parson's happy days were ended. In a few months the parson went mad and was always eating and running round the table. The parson died a horrible death shortly afterwards.
