    your neck.
    If a person had a sore eye he would bathe it with cold tea every day, and after a few days the eye would get better.
    A cure for a burn is to chop up raw potatoes and boil them, and when they are boiled put them on the burn and they will heal it up in a few days.
    The cure for a bile is to make a poltice of oatmeal porridge and put it on the bile.
    If a person got a severe cut, and it would not stop bleeding he would put a cobweb to the cut.
    Some people recite the following prayer to stop a cut from bleeding:-
    "Jesus was born at Bethlehem,
    Baptized in the river Jordan.
    The water was pure, the water was good,
    As He passed by the water stood,
    And in His Blessed Holy Name
    I command this blood to do the same."
    If a person got a swollen leg he would bathe it, and then keep
