- About fifty or sixty years ago there was a horse-dealer who used to travel through Ireland buying and selling horses. He used to stop three months of the year on Edenmore fort feeding his horses. He was very rich and it was supposed that he had a foal-skin of money. He died suddenly and he had not time to say where the money was concealed. All he had time say was. "To your right as you go out on the gap". The natives around there often looked for it but never found it.
