    of them. The "Crooked ford" and the "Clock ford". The "Clock ford" is so called because the face of a clock is cut out in the middle of it. In Aughnacliffe there is a giant buried and in the field there are big stones like rocks on top of him, or else they were built up long ago by the giants.
