    I'm a decent married woman,
    Brigid Reilly is my name,
    I married a decent fellow,
    And we live in the Water Lane.
    He goes down the street,
    With His polished boots and tie
    And leaves poor Brigid in the corner.
    When he comes home
    It is then the sport begins,
    For the heart of the row
    Is Brigid Kelly.
