    doirnín:(pronounced durneens) handle grips on scythe
    spadach: soft white turf- usually first layer cut
    banbh: young pig
    céilidhe: custom of people who visit houses at night
    claibín: small wooden cover put on churn to prevent milk splashing out
    cáibín: an old hat
    móinín: soft marshy land or swamp in which rushes grow
    cíbhín: black pieces of wood or sticks found in turf
    ceannabhán: bog cotton
    crúibín: pig's foot
    cab: bridle bit
    cipín: small stick
    gríscín: greeshkeens of fowl
    mac: son
    láthaighe: kindly person
    brúitín: mashed potatoes and butter
    puncán: small green patch of earth standing in a stream or river
    bogán: soft egg
    gobán: like a tin saucepan with perforated bottom usually put on calf's mouth to prevent it sucking cow
