  1. For toothache, Get the fat of a frog and put it in the teeth.
    Salt was also put in the aching tooth
    Yarrow chewed in the mouth will cure a toothache
    Put a live frog in a glass jar half full of water. As the frog gets weaker the ache gets less and when he dies the pain in the tooth dies too.
    Pepper on a piece of cotton wool was another cure.
    Chin Cough:
    Food left behind by a ferret cures this.
    A person whose father and mother had the same surname before marriage can cure it.
    A living trout's head was thrust into the mouth of the sufferer. The trout inhales the chin cough (whooping cough) and the patient is cured.
    Warts
    Get a black snail (without looking for one) rub it to the warts an then put it on a blackthorn bush. As the snail withers the warts will wither too.
    If you have warts and get someone to count them, you lose them and the other person gets them.
    "The Spout"- a stream running through Tully's field (Lislea townland Clonbroney parish, Granard Barony) falls suddenly about four feet into Lislea River. Its waters are so cold that it is almost impossible to bear it. If the spout is visited by a person with warts, who lets
