- Cures
To cure warts it is important to get a gravelstone for every wart you have and put them in a bag. Then throw the bag on the road and whoever picked it up first gets the warts. An effective cure for the chincough is to go in and out three times under a briar with both its ends groving in the ground. A good cure for ringworms is to get three furze bushes and redden the stumps in the fire and then draw the sticks one after another around the ringworm as near as you could bear the heat.
