    One day about ten o'clock the sky got very dark. The Connellys of the Island were sitting round the fire it rained heavily that day. About twelve o'clock when they were eating their dinner a clap of thunder and a flash of lightening came in round the house and knocked down a big tree on the house and nearly killed every one of them. This happened about thirty years ago.
