  2. On the green road not very far from here a coach is supposed to be seen or heard occasionally.
    It always takes the same road at the same hour of midnight and it is known in the locality as the dead coach. No horses or driver are to be seen. It goes into a certain yard drives around it and out again. There was a man working in the place one time who did not believe in it. He went out to fasten the door of the yard one night about twelve o'clock and as he was about to close the door the coach drove through forcing in the door and throwing back the man against the wall.
