    Rosegarland and Maudlintown :
    Sports field where local Sports were held from Year to Year
    Green Field never ploughed
    Pound Field because cattle were impounded there by bailiffs for debt
    Keeper's Field : because Game Keepers used to live in a house situated there
    Carty's Field : called after a family named Cartys
    Rabbit Hill Field : Rabbit warren there
    "Corry's Hll field People named Corrys
    The Furze Field" used for growing furze for horse feeding in olden times
    Canal field : Boats coming up with loads along river Corogue used to stop there
    "Pidgeon House Field" Pidgeons were reared there
    "Byron's Field" called after owner named Byron
    "Poor's Field" called after family named Power pronounced Pour in Co. Wexford
