Littlegraigue and Knockbine is dedicated to Our Lady. The well in Ambrosetown cures warts. You must go to the well nine times and put some water on the warts. Anyone that visits the wells takes a drink of the water. Sometimes people say prayers when there but there are no special prayers to be said. Some people leave bits of beads behind them at the wells. No offerings of food or money are made at them
There is no fish in the well.
Some people bring bottles of water from the wells and use it when anything would be sick. There is a skeough growing over St Kevin's well.
