betrayed into the hands of the government by the wretched Waddy of Clougheast Castle.
Harvey was beheaded on Wexford bridge. His head was placed on the spikes of the Courthouse railings.
The headless body of Bagnal Harvey is interred in Mayglass while his head is supposed to have been placed in St Patrick's Cemetery.
Bargy Castle and estate which was Bagnel's property were confiscated to the crown on his death.
Descendants of Bagnal Harvey still occupy the castle.
