With its vales so fair and grand
Where the waters meet and the woods so sweet
Its the pride of Ireland
But to my eye there is just close by
A spot that is and pure
T'is St Patrick's Bridge that grand old ridge
Convenient to Kilmore.Killarney's lakes and Blarney grove's
Are famed in history
The Treaty Stone and Sweet Atlone
Where she struggled to be free
But though renowned and great they be
Still to me they cant be more
Than that statly island the great Saltee
Just four miles from Kilmore.Go around the quay there is the Bay
Called Ballytiegue so grand
Where the boys they meet their lassies sweet
And stroll along the strand
Harmless they talk as away they walk
