- There are two holy wells in Tomhaggard. One is dedicated in honour of St Anne, and the other dedicated in honour of St. James. St. Anne's well is by Devereux's of Tomhaggard. St. Jame's well is by the road near Devereux's.
People come to visit St. Anne's well on 25th July every year and they come to visit St. Jame's well on July 26th. People come to St. Anne's well to bathe sores.
One day a girl came down from some upper country to bathe her eyes. She came three days and on the third day her sight was cured.
Some people used to come with sore throats and drink the water.
Many people leave medals and beads there.
About seven years ago the people collected money and erected a statue over the well.- Collector
