    they saw him approaching they ran. On reaching where they had been digging he saw what appeared to be a crock of gold. He brought it home and it is said that he was not seen for several days because he was too busy counting the sovereigns.
    There are old ruins on the land beside our house. There is a tree with a hole in the side of it in a garden behind the old house. My father told me that there is gold hidden in that tree. He said that he was there one night and he saw a light in the hole of the tree.
