- Wild Geese are very plentiful especially in this part of Ireland during the Winter.They live in the North of Europe in the Summer but they come down here for food during the Winter.The wild geese come to our country in the Autumn because they cannot get food further North.You will surely see a wild goose flying by itself, they travel in flocks or gaggles.There is always a leader and they fly in the form of a V.When they graze on the slobs there is always the leader watching and if there is any sign of danger he gives the "Honk, Honk" of(continues on next page)
