    3. Cure for Toothache
    An Old Irish cure for toothache is to rub saltpetre on it.
    4. Cure for Thrush.
    A posthumus child, or child born after the father's death, is supposed to possess the gift of curing this child's disease.
    5. Cure for a Stye
    The weddy ring of a married Lady is supposed to be a great cure for sore eyes. The cure is to rub it on the sore eye making the sign of the cross on the eye.
