    Dandelion for the blood.
    Weak Children : Donkey's milk and Goat's milk
    Consumption Eat snails
    Warts : Put the spit of a snail on the wart and stick the snail on a thorn of the sceac; and when the snail decays the wart is gone.
    Burns + Scalds : Leaves out of the "Holy Trinity" well. Rub the burn in the hair of the head and Say "St Laurence take away the pain"
    Sprain : Mix bran and vinegar and apply the poultice to the affected part.
    Sting of a Nettle :- Wind a dock leave around and repeat "Dock leaf, dock leaf take the sting of a nettle away"
    Bee Sting : Rub the "blue bag" on the sting
    Sore eyes : Cold tea or a solution of fresh milk mixed witha little hot water.
    There are many holy wells in Ireland which, when the water is taken or applied, with belief, are said to cure many ailments
