  2. The people of Ballyvaldon, Blackwater, Enniscorthy, were called
    "They kill them and eat them people."
    This is how they got that name.
    Once a ship was out on sea.
    There was a lot of goods and money on the ship. As the ship was coming near Ballyvaldon a very bad storm arose and the crew of the ship brought it in at Ballyvaldon.
    The ship was not long in when the people heard about it.
    There were fishermen's houses about half a mile from the sea
