    Kinsella's Goat.
    Of all the damn devils of goats I have known,
    The worst of them all is the goat that I own,
    Which I bought in the Harrow in June '63,
    She has ate every cabbage and peeled every tree
    Around Ballytracy and Bolger's old fort
    And tomorrow I stand as a criminal at court
    To account for her deeds before Oulart's J Ps
    And I'll plead for her hanging on my two bended knees.
    I bought the damn rascal from Jack MacNamee,
    And he vowed that her milking was equal to three
    For quietness and order there was none to compare
    With the dame that I bought in the Harrow Goat Fair
    On our way to my homestead with the rope in my hand,
    At Tubbergal Cross she took full command,
    And capered before me like a soldier on guard
    So to measure her strength against Michael the bard
    Bad cess to the hour that I met Mac Mamee
    And the goat that was reared on the slopes of Slieve buidhe.
