    She took him into the parlour and told him to make himself comfortable. She took him into the kitchen then, and made some cakes into which she put rocks. She took some tea and cakes to the giant, and told him that they were the cakes that her husband always ate.
    The giant tried to eat them, but he could not get his teeth through them. "If Finn Mac Cual can eat these, then he would not be long eating me," so he got out of the castle unnoticed and never came back again.
