- 3rd February 1938FolkloreThe Raheen FieldThere is a farm in Templudigan owned by a man named Fitzhenry. On this far there was a rath noted for the terrible things which happende to anyone who trespassed there in. Now this Fitzhenry had two workmen, Nolan and Foley. He told his men one morning they should plough the Rath.
You can imagine the shockj he got when he heard this news. The cold sweat broke out all over him. Nolan was a brave man and went immediately to yoke up his horses. When they horses yoked Fitzhenry told Foley he should accompany Nolan to the Rath.(continues on next page)- Collector
