    White wooly patches in the sky are the sign of rain.
    When the gnats and winged mites are in countless numbers, tormenting, stinging and biting. It is the sign of rain.
    When there are streamers out of the sun in the West, it is the sign of rain.
    A circle of black around the moon, is said to be the sign of rain.
    If the wind is North, it is the sign of frost.
    If the wind is North-east it is the sign of snow.
    If the wind is Southwest it is the sign of rain.
    When the birds are on the tops of the trees in the morning, it is the sign of a fine day.
    When a dog eats grass it is a sign of rain.
