   The Crow: If the 1st March falls on a Sunday the Crow will not build her nest but waits until the 2nd. Robin: The robin picked thorns out of our Lord's head; some of the blood getting on his breast, leaving all robins with red breasts. Swallow: If the swallow's nest is robbed the cow or cows of the robber will milk blood. Collected by Sheila Boland (14), Wood-of-O, Tullamore from her father Daniel.
