- Pop gun: To make a pop gun, a piece of elder stick is first got. The inside of the elder is hollowed out and when that is done a piece of paper is put into it and it is driven through the hole with a ram-rod. It lets a shot like a shot gun.
- Dancing Master.
When you are making a dancing master you get a piece of wood and make the arms, legs and body, and put a piece of string out through its body and when you pull the string the doll will dance. - a crib: to make a crib get a lot of sally rods, and cut them two foot long. Put two thick ones on the bottom. Then put two more on the other side. According as it is going up the sticks get smaller.
