    He was always a miser like the woman with the sore leg.
    Once upon a time there lived a woman and she always had a sore leg and she always kept it bandaged. She told the people who lived with her that when she would die they were not to take off the bandage. So she died soon after and the people of the house said it would not be right to leave her that way. So they took off the bandage off her leg and found instead of a sore leg a great deal of money. The people of that district say ever since, He was always a miser like the woman with the sore leg.
