  1. There is money hidden in the castle of Fadden. A woman went to dig for it. When she left down the spade the castle fell across the road. The money was hidden at the time that the Danes were going to be put out of Ireland. Gold is supposed to be hidden in the castle grounds. No one ever went to dig for it since.

  2. There are priests vestments hidden in an old church above in Port. People went to dig for them but they did not get any thing. They were supposed to be hidden in the walls and in the ground. It is said that a black man minds them.
