    floating about on the water. But the water was as cold as when it was put down.
    When coura stream was being widened straightened an Engineer named Foyle from Tullamore caused the well on the left bank to be closed.
    He soon afterwards returned to Tullamore where he died suddenly and the people of the neighbourhood still say he had no right to interfere with any of St Camin's wells.
    A man named Black to the rocks of the Monastery inspite of the protests of the people & built the Mills now as Black Mills. The mill is now in ruins it was destroyed by fire in November 1934. St Camins patron day is on the 19th August and the neighbours visit it still on that day. It is believed that St Camin died in Bobio.

    Near Kilcamin Monastery there's a strip of land & no one will plough it. One time an old man dreamt three nights in succession that there was a pot of gold hidden in this waste strip of land so he went and dug round the spot and found the treasure. He was going away with it when he was attacked by a black cat & and was
