    Skittles Playing
We cut a handle of a brush into five parts, each about six inches long, and we number them from one to five. To play the game they are put inside a (tre) three foot square on the ground with the numbers one, two, three, four at each corner, and the number five in the middle.
Each person gets three throws at them with a stick about a yard long. They throw from a distance of twelve yards.
The scores are counted according to the numbers of the skittles knocked outside the square.
The highest square wins the game.
