- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)On the high-bank of White;s bog in the townsland of Clonlisk, there is the remains of an old road or passage running from North to South. it is said that the Danes made this road when they invaded the Country. People cutting turf on this particular strip, meet about 2 feet of gravel and old oak planks. The bog has grown about 3 ft over this old road.
