  1. About seventy years ago Mr. Harding of Grange House ordered his servants to cut down St. Kieran's Bush as he considered it to be an obstruction on the middle of the road. One after another the servants refused. He then went to cut it himself. With the first blow of the axe he struck a splinter, went into his eye and blinded him.
It is believed that St. Kieran used pray under this bush.
When passing by the bush Catholics raise their hats, and always pass at left hand side of the bush.
Late Pat Guinan, Grange told Sean O'Neill.
