    again next day for the other of the Hanrahan's, and they said We shot your old dog of a brother(.) After that they thought to burn the house. They said if they thought anything about their old mother to take her out. The priest happened to be in it attending, and he said they wouldn't burn the house, they threw petrol on it, and tried their best, but they failed. Then Mr. Neport came down for their mother, and kept her for a few days, and also gave them plenty of hay and straw.
