- A great many years ago a man lived in Clashganny, Borris, and he was a smith. He was a very lazy man when he was young. He was married to a very good woman. He worked in his forge about one month and then gave it up. He never could get up in the morning.
When the harvest came his wife had to go out to earn something for them to live on. One evening his wife came home very tired after binding all day. Her husband was lying on the floor dead asleep. She wakened him and she began argueing to him. He got very much ashamed and said for sure that he would go out next morning and his wife was glad.
