  1. I live in Moycullen, in the parish of Borris, in the Barony of St. Mullins. It's Irish name is Magchuilin. It means the plain of the holly. It got that name from a lot of holly trees that were growing there long ago. There are two houses in it and 21 people. Both houses are slated. Long ago there were 7 houses in this townland. Some of them went to America and Australia. The common name in it is Doran's. There are old ruins in it still. There are fields and parts of the roads called after people that lived there. There are no old people living there. There are 4 bogs in it. The land in Moycullen is level and good. Long ago there was turf cut in it.
